WACO, Texas – For the 26th straight season, the 40th-ranked Baylor men’s tennis team secured a spot in the NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Team Championships. During Monday night's selection show, the Bears were placed in the College Station region.

BU (18-11) begins play against San Diego (22-3) in the first round at Texas A&M’s Mitchell Tennis Center on Friday. With a first-round win, the Bears face the winner of the Texas A&M Aggies and Rice Owls in the second round.

The Bears’ at-large bid is the 26th consecutive and 26th in program history.

Baylor holds a combined record of 42-5 in the first two rounds of the tournament and an overall mark of 67-24.
