From 2010 to 2013, Tevin “Sweet Feet” Reese caused problems for Big 12 secondaries. In his four seasons with the Bears, Reese offered a serious deep threat and breakaway speed that helped him find a place firmly in Baylor Football’s record books.

Through his 48 games played in green and gold, Reese racked up 187 receptions, 3,102 yards receiving, and 24 touchdowns. Those marks are good for 4th, 4th, and 6th in program history respectively for a career at receiver.

Letting the record book do the math, 3,102 yards across 48 games comes out to 64.63 receiving yards per game. That is good for 5th in Baylor history, with Corey Coleman’s amazing 85.97 yards per game being the record holder.

Sweet Feet amassed these stats thanks to his natural speed and hard work. He ran a 4.31 forty, and had a 45.5-inch vertical. He was an explosive athlete who could flat-out fly, and he even ran a little for Baylor track. By the end of his playing days in Waco, he had earned a pair of All-Big 12 honorable mentions to go alongside his lofty place in the Baylor record books.
