Baylor Men's Tennis Releases Fall Schedule
WACO, Texas – A nine-tournament fall schedule for Baylor men’s tennis was released Thursday afternoon by head coach Michael Woodson.
The University of San Francisco’s Battle in the Bay officially kicks off the fall season on Thursday, Sept. 21. Meanwhile in Oklahoma, another contingent of Bears will compete at the Big 12/SEC Challenge hosted by the Oklahoma State Cowboys. One final group will head south of the border to Torreón, Mexico, for the USA Collegiate Cup. Tennis begins in the Stillwater and Mexico tournaments on Friday, Sept. 22.
The annual fall pilgrimage to Tulsa, Okla., will be underway for the ITA All-American Championships, held Sept. 30-Oct. 8 at the University of Tulsa’s Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
ITA tournament play continues with the ITA Texas Regional Championships up the road at TCU on Oct. 19-24, and will conclude in San Diego for the ITA Fall National Championships Nov. 1-5.
Also in San Diego, select Bears will play in USD’s hidden dual tournament at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center Nov. 3-5.
In the final fall tennis weekend, the Bears split between the Austin ITF pro circuit and the San Antonio International Tennis Team Championships at the Freeman Coliseum the week of Nov. 6-12.
