He didn't but he also came off as someone with about the same level of insider info as everyone on this board who pays close attention. I'm appreciative he funds and helps run this site but he's a self proclaimed insider.

I have to be careful what I say and don't say. After the smoke clears, I can say more but I try to choose my words carefully. I don't think the pic of Drew and Shero means anything except that the rumors of Scott Drew being in Lexington were not accurate.

If he goes to Kentucky, I think he will regret tweeting that out. I don't think he thought through that one. But hey it's only been viewed 3.4 million times and counting!

I don't get the disappointment with the site owner. It's a double edged sword. He's running a business that is also reliant on him keeping relationships in place for the long term not just a single event like this. Whatever Drew's decision is will have a huge impact tomorrow but he has to keep connections in place longer than just tomorrow. And the first time someone thinks he has too loose of lips then off goes the communication to him going forward. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

We're all on edge and just as the Kentucky fans jumped all over the rumor of the flight a lot of Kentucky fans were happy and a lot of us were not. Then the photo was tweeted and a lot of us were relieved and Kentucky fans were confused. I didn't read into the tweet and shirt that he was saying he was staying but I guess I can understand why some people did. Drew is going through a stressful decision process so maybe he just made a mistake that he regrets later? We all make mistakes.

I've finally accepted he's likely leaving and now I'm getting optimistic that we will rebuild. It will take time but we can do it. That pacifies me right now. And if Drew surprises me and comes back then I will be overly happy. But I get it. I know some don't trust Mack to make the right hire.

That would shock me that Drew would do some mind fxcking on his final day as the HC with a fan base and alums who have been loyal to him for 20 years

I assume it was an open secret around those closer to the program, and some Kentucky media clearly knew as well.

Drew deserves a lot of grief for that tweet weather or not he goes.

I wouldn't go that far. It's a misfire, for sure. And it will create some ill will with some fans. But one poorly thought out tweet doesn't undo 21 years of goodwill.

Quit covering for him man, it wasn't a poorly thought out tweet, it was an intention misdirection. Be it to give his wife cover or not, he wanted everyone to think the situation was not what it looks like.. There were lots of better ways to handle this than he did.
