Owner Bob McNair received permission from Chiefs' owner Lamar Hunt to use the Texans nickname for his new team. However, Lamar Hunt did not own the rights to the Texans' nickname. This was done out of https://www.topessaywriting.org/samples/greek-mythology respect to Hunt rather than a legal obligation. The Houston Texans are the youngest franchise in the NFL, becoming the league's 32nd franchise during the 2002 season.

Crazy....what Pitre will earn over 4 years (after a LOT of blood sweat and tears) Dave Aranda makes in 2. And coaches like Nicky and Jimbo in 1.

P5 college football coaches are paid so out of line with the real world its maddening.

As far as the "real world" of income goes, big time HC's, even like Aranda now, are paid the equivalent of top level CEO's of Corporations because a winning football team brings in so much $ to the University, and the HC directs the team. So, in the "real world" of top level executives, HC's are paid on par with them.
