I was given my money as well. Grandparents bought some excellent shares in the early 90s that blossomed and bloomed.

The more I hear about McCarthy, the more I like him.

He had the opportunity to fire or hire his own OC and kept Moore. Since McCarthy will be overseeing his speciality, I love it.

Wish I could find the stat again, but it showed McCarthy has the 4th best record in the NFL of in-game decisions behind Belechik, Tomlin and Payton. Thats some great company

Judge broke into coaching in 2005 as a graduate assistant at Mississippi State before moving onto BirminghamSouthern as a linebackers coach. But his big break came in 2009 when he joined Nick Saban's Alabama staff as a special teams assistant.

In 2012, Judge jumped to the NFL level and was added to Bill Belichick's staff, first as a special teams assistant and later the special teams coordinator. In 2019, he added the title of wide receivers coach.

Yep...which actually affects us (BU) somewhat as he was also a favorite for going back to his alma mater Miss St to be their HC.

I'd personally rather have McCarthy as the Cowboys HC than Rhule. I love Rhule for Baylor but I view him as a better fit for college. I could be wrong but I think he's a much riskier hire for an NFL team.

Agree....especially when you look at the long history of college coaches that have tried to make the jump.

Jerry thinks he has the talent to win right now....I don't think he felt like gambling on potential.

I think he will be very successful in the NFL. That doesn't mean he isn't a better fit for college. It would not surprise me at all if he found the NFL less fulfilling than coaching in college.

Not really. He would have more than he could spend no matter where he was. $60M does not soothe pain any more than $20M.

A name of interest on Mike McCarthy's staff with the Cowboys is Rams special teams coach John Fassel, according to sources. He's had one of the top units the last few years. The Cowboys' special teams struggled in 2019 with Brett Maher contributing 10 missed field goal attempts and they finished last in kickoff return average.

Jim Tomsula was a great interview. Absolutely hilarious lack of public speaking ability. Felt bad for him that the 49ers basically hung him out on the clothesline like a pair of tattered tighty whities.
