Colts acquired DL DeForest Buckner from the 49ers in exchange for the No. 13 overall pick.

With the 49ers deciding to give Arik Armstead a five-year, $85 million contract on Monday, keeping Buckner long term was no longer feasible. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports he has already agreed to an extension with the Colts that pays him $21 million per season, making him the league's second highest paid interior lineman after Aaron Donald. Buckner will massively reinforce what was both a middling run defense and pass rush for the Colts in 2019. Tomorrow is Buckner's 26th birthday.

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports the Cowboys, Bills, Jets and Raiders are "among the teams showing interest" in free agent Chris Harris.
The Broncos, meanwhile, supposedly have not closed the door on re-signing their No. 1 corner, but 30-year-old Harris appears all but certain to depart. Even at his advancing age for a corner, we would expect Harris' market to be fierce.

Texans signed WR Randall Cobb, formerly of the Cowboys, to a three-year, $27 million contract.
Cobb, 30, will get $18.75 million guaranteed. It's been a tough day at the office for Texans coach/GM Bill O'Brien who traded away DeAndre Hopkins for less compensation than what the Vikings received for Stefon Diggs. While unfair to Cobb, the optics of this move look bad just hours after learning that Hopkins was moved because he wanted more money, but it's unquestionably a good fit for the veteran slot receiver. The Texans obviously have targets up for grabs, and Cobb should be a near every-down player with a high-end quarterback. Cobb could be a double-digit round target in summer fantasy drafts depending on how the NFL Draft goes.

Eagles agreed to terms with DT Javon Hargrave, formerly of the Steelers, on a three-year, $39 million contract.

Hargrave was one of the more underrated free agents on the market. This is a really good get for the Eagles, pairing him with Fletcher Cox and Malik Jackson on the interior, likely ending Timmy Jernigan's time with Philly. Hargrave, 27, was Pro Football Focus' No. 12 interior lineman among 119 qualifiers last season when he registered four sacks and played strong run defense next to Cameron Heyward.

If I can give you a silver lining, we will now get a compensatory 3rd round pick next year for him and remember we traded for him with a 6th round pick.

So now depending on how we work free agency we should for 2021 get 3rd round picks for Byron Jones and Robert Quinn.
