Jacksonville and Houston play each other today and the Giants play Washington so we should at least be in the #4 if not #3 pick by the end of the day.

The longtime pro Garrett Gilbert starting today. Scrapheap redhead and personal favorite of Wichita, Cooper Rush is his backup and diNucci moved just past the end of the bench, apparently with not enough room as he will be sitting on the ground.

What do we know about Gilbert's pro game? He is prone to taking sacks, taking the 'just above the dirt nap' on 16.67% vs completions . He loves his mid-range passes with a 20 ypc. He completes a first down on half the passes he completes. The good news is that his COMPLETION to INT is superb. As is his LOST FUMBLE to RUSH attempts. Absolutely incredible

In his career, he's been with the Rams, Patriots, Lions, Raiders, Panthers, Browns and now Cowboys. That's a lot of experience for someone not even 30 yoa. You might remember that he was also a semi-pro in college, getting new cars from both UT and SMU

Garrett has been the Webster's dictionary of a pro, having signed with 7 different NFL teams over the years. We can only hope he brings all that experience to the Cowboys today

I watched the AAF and remembered Gilbert with the Apollos and you figure if you can QB for Steve Spurrier, you can QB for anyone. He might be a keeper.

i think everyone of his completions has been behind the WR. If you are the D coordinator, you let your DBs know and all of a sudden those completions are INTs
