Yep he is a damn good corner...I would have traded back into round 1 for him. Karl Joseph is the only round 1ish CB left but had some character baggage so he will likely go early 2nd...probably before us.

We need DL help too.

Yep at 1 tech/NT specifically and there are a lotnof good guys thay will be available starting in round 3. Gallimore and Hill have the 3 tech covered. You could also add a DE too to backfill Aldon Smith. Of course CB and S are big needs.

Winning by cheating is just as impressive as winning fairly, probably even more so. Your opponent was better than you in every way, and you beat them with your brain.

Franks has the best arm of the Day 3 prospects, but lacks the decision-making skills and consistency as a passer.

Philadelphia's second third-round pick, No. 84, by backing up two spots in the first round and then selecting Micah Parsons, to go with their second (No. 44) and their original two thirds (No. 75 and No. 99), that gives the Cowboys four picks, and meaning they now would have five picks in the Top 100 of this draft.

Just remember that when Tyron Smith is out for his customary 3 to 5 games this year. To be fair there are some good OTs still left on the board but none as talented and polished as Slater.

    I'll write it down.

Some of the better linemen in the game were day 2 picks.

This was the OL we took in my mock:

    PROSPECT SUMMARY - WALKER LITTLE
Walker Little aligned at left tackle for the Cardinal offense. He is a big, strong prospect with excellent length and prototypical NFL size. He has excellent range, which makes him ideally suited to play on the edge. He plays with good athleticism overall, as evidenced by his fluid pass set and his ability to laterally redirect inside. He also demonstrates excellent latch strength in his hands. He will compete as a run blocker but doesn't generate much vertical movement. He plays with vision and instincts to easily identify twists and stunts. Little suffered a knee injury in September of 2019 and hasn't played since after also opting out of 2020.
Ideal Role: Eventual starting NFL left tackle.

Scheme Fit: Vertical passing game offense.

    FILM EVALUATION
    Written by Drae Harris
Balance: He plays the tackle position with good balance. This is a player who is rarely on the ground. He also has good footwork, plays with an excellent base, and his feet are always under him.
Pass Set: He is good in his pass set. Prior to the injury, his kick slide was smooth and fluid. He easily controlled speed rushers due to his length, intelligence, and competitiveness.
Competitive Toughness: He demonstrates the competitive toughness necessary to excel in the NFL. He is physically tough and will "finish" defenders. He also competes hard on the edge when speed rushers have attacked his leverage.
Lateral Mobility: Prior to the injury, his lateral mobility was good. There was nothing with regards to movement skills that would hinder him in the NFL. He easily redirects inside and has outstanding body control.
Length: He has excellent length, which is essential for left tackles in the NFL. He uses his length well on the perimeter to control edge rushers. He is a long-levered player who appears to also have above-average arm length, as well.
Football IQ: This player has an exceptional football IQ. He also plays with vision and can identify stunts and games by defenders.
Hands: He plays the game with good hands. When he is in his set, his punch jolts the defenders and demonstrates the pop he has in his hands. He also has outstanding latch strength in his hands.
Anchor: Prior to the injury, he played the game with good anchor ability. He can bend and he's strong, which makes this player hard to bull rush. His anchor is ideal and pairs it with length to maintain the width of the pocket.
Power at P.O.A.: He has some power at the point of attack. However, he could afford to get stronger in his upper and lower body. This will help him to handle powerful rushers in the NFL.
Versatility: He lacks some versatility only because he can't kick inside to guard. However, he could potentially play right tackle, if asked to do so. He is an intelligent player, so he can align in multiple places.
Prospect Comparison: Andrew Whitworth (2006 NFL Draft, Cincinnati Bengals)
    SCOUT GRADES
    TDN Consensus: To Be Determined
    Drae Harris: 79/100

In the day of Schramm , Brandt, and Landry in the "War Room", they would have looked at Robert Rochell, Central Arkansas CB. He would be one of those "finds" that made the old Cowboy's draft day a special event! Raw, but some team will get a gem.

    Parsons Steal of the Draft

The Cowboys made the rare trade within their own division on draft day, dropping back two spots with the Philadelphia Eagles after both of this year's top cornerback prospects came off the board with the two picks right ahead of them. The move paid off, though, as the Cowboys netted an extra third-round pick, and still ended up with the best overall defensive prospect in the entire draft.

So we pick in Rd 2 at pick 44

We will get one of these fellas

The first round of the 2021 NFL Draft is in the rearview mirror and five quarterbacks left the board as anticipated, but there are still some quality players to be taken in the second and third rounds Friday on Day 2. Below are CBSSports.com's highest-ranked players still available (including their overall prospect ranking) as the draft heads to Friday in Cleveland for rounds 2 and 3:

    No. 16: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB/S, Notre Dame
Owusu-Koramoah is more of a safety playing linebacker, but he will find a comfortable landing spot in the second round.

No. 17: Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU
Moehrig is a balanced safety capable of playing single high or coming downhill to make plays in the box.

No. 18: Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia
Ojulari is still coming into his own but his speed around the edge is a good starting point in his development.

No. 20: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue
Moore is very undersized and has an injury history, but he is explosive with the ball in his hands.

No. 23: Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State
Jenkins is a physical lineman that should be taken early on Day 2.

No. 24: Asante Samuel Jr., CB, Florida State
It was surprising to see Samuel available at the conclusion of the first round but it should not be long before he hears his name called following a run on the cornerback position late in Round 1.

No. 26: Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama
Barmore flashed in the College Football Playoff, but he was not consistent during his final season in Tuscaloosa.

No. 28: Levi Onwuzurike, DT, Washington
Onwuzurike is a strong interior defender who can play the run and push the pocket.

No. 29: Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas
Ossai is a bit stiff but he has a knack for finding the football around the edge. He was more of a linebacker in 2019 and found a home at edge rusher in 2020.

No. 33: Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss
Moore is a speedster that is dynamic with the football in his hands. He is primarily a slot receiver.

No. 36: Richie Grant, S, UCF
Grant is a rangy, ball-hawking safety that drew a lot of buzz late in the process.

No. 38: Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, LSU
Marshall was a part of a potent LSU offense last year that included Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Justin Jefferson, Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase. He is a big wide receiver.

No. 39: Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia
Campbell is a fantastic man cover cornerback who does a great job of staying in-phase but he does not have the ball production to show for it.

No. 40: Javonte Williams, RB, North Carolina
Williams, a former linebacker, is easily the best running back remaining on the board.

No. 42: Wyatt Davis, OG, Ohio State
Davis battled injuries in 2020 after a fantastic 2019 season.

No. 44: Ifeatu Melifonwu, CB, Syracuse
Melifonwu has a lot of length and could be a target for a cornerback-needy team after a run at the position at the end of the first roudn.

No. 45: Daviyon Nixon, DT, Iowa
Nixon has been a bit inconsistent but he flashes the ability to shoot gaps and push the pocket.

No. 46: Carlos Basham Jr., EDGE, Wake Forest
Basham is an inconsistent edge rusher that shows flashes of promise.

No. 47: Kelvin Joseph, CB, Kentucky
Joseph could end up being the best cornerback in this draft class but he lacks experience.

No. 48: Aaron Robinson, CB, UCF
Robinson is a long, fluid prospect that has the versatility to play cornerback or nickelback.

No. 49: Jalen Mayfield, OT/OG, Michigan
Mayfield is a bit of a polarizing prospect that has the versatility to play either guard or tackle on the next level.

No. 51: Jackson Carman, OT/OG, Clemson
Carman has the versatility to play guard or tackle.

No. 52: D'Wayne Eskridge, WR, Western Michigan
Speed, speed, speed. Eskridge was cross-trained as a cornerback but possesses explosive traits after the catch.

No. 53: Creed Humphrey, C, Oklahoma
Humphrey plays with great leverage and a strong base. He is a valuable interior offensive line prospect to be had on Day 2.

No. 54: Jevon Holland, S, Oregon
Holland is a great communicator with the ability to play slot cornerback or safety.

No. 55: Dillon Radunz, OT/G, North Dakota State
Radunz is a really athletic lineman that has been training with 49ers great Joe Staley. He has the versatility to play guard or tackle in the NFL.
