You mean 4th stringer.
Who's the back up now?
The Purdy hit wasn't dirty. It was a great play by Haason Reddick to hit his arm on a pass rush. Just one of those fluky deals. That same play happens every week at every level of football. Rarely does it result in an injury to the quarterback.hodedofome said:
I imagine the Eagles are going to do the same thing to Mahomes as they did to Purdy. Just take him out of the game.
Brock Purdy isn’t just a GAME MANAGER. He’s always been special.

Program Changer at Perry High School in Arizona. Program Changer at Iowa State. He isn’t sneaky athletic, he is ATHLETIC. He has proven he can CHANGE THE GAME, is 21-5 as an NFL Starter and is now Super Bowl Bound. pic.twitter.com/dWuba7Mr3G

This is the 2nd consecutive year that both Super Bowl quarterbacks are Big 12 alums. pic.twitter.com/iGkEUE2JBP
In the second half tonight, the @49ers' Brock Purdy:
— OptaSTATS (@OptaSTATS) January 29, 2024
- threw for 150+ yards
- rushed for 45+ yards
- completed 80% of his passes
- averaged 10.0+ yards per rush
- had 0 turnovers
No other NFL QB in the last 30 years has done all of that in a single half (reg or post). pic.twitter.com/TS5YXipPk5
Former #Panthers HC Matt Rhule on Brock Purdy: "When I was in the draft room at Carolina, I brought his name up. I said, 'Hey guys, he should be on the draft board.' I got vetoed on that one."
