Completely agree. I was in regular contact with CSD during the formative years on some recruits he was interested in (signed one). Most unbelievable story in the history of college athletics. He definitely deserves better. Haven't asked him what he thinks about all this … and don't want to. It's embarrassing.

I don't get it either. I can't stand Taylor Swift. I went a few years without ever having to hear her name and then all the sudden she started showing up in the news again because she went on a date with a famous football player. The NFL is also desperately racking their brains thinking of how they can get women to be interested in football, and they decided to push this Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce thing

The fanbase want a fun, rowdy (not trashy/but rowdy), tailgating, let's catch up and have a few cocktails and a laugh before the game sports environment like it was 10 years ago. It's not being run like a Baptist church. It's being run like a highly DEI focused private university that has been cast loose from its historical moorings and any sense of accountability to its stakeholders. The Aggies are being run like a Baptist Church (many more Baptists there than Baylor). They told them to dig deep, passed the plate, and came up with $75million.

I sit close to students. I have seen very little restrictions placed on them. Only when one says something inappropriate. Crossing the line so to speak….cussing, personally offending, etc

A few years ago I had a Baylor fan turn and apologize to a Kansas fan, at the FC, because I and most of the crowd had the audacity to boo a terrible call by the ref, the moment the replay showed it was a terrible call. A grown man felt embarrassed that other people were calling out an egregiously bad whistle and APOLOGIZED to a KU fan. We have some amazingly weak fans and alumni. Inflatable sex sheep would probably get one tackled by security these days, but we don't play Aggy anymore so I guess that's not one to worry about.

Higgins. Good grief that guy is horrible. But good news...

John Higgins Retiring

Higgins is one reason I can never sit on the sideline. I only yell with encouragement to our team or egregiously bad calls (many of those from Higgins). Average bad calls happen every game and I don't say a word many games but I let them have it when it's bad enough. One reason I sit on row 16 and don't care about church lady stares. But Baylor will have to escort me from the stadium and refund my money to stop me. I am there to help my team win like every other decent fan base.

Is the thinking that Higgins was corrupt?
