Matt Rhule confirms that WR Malachi Coleman plans to enter the transfer portal. Due to the incoming roster limits, he expects 30-50 Nebraska players to enter the portal.

I saw that report earlier today. That sounds like quite a hemorrhage for Nebraska if it occurs.

Rosters drop from 120 limit to 105, right?

But scholarships can rise from 85 to 105. And they can get NIL $$. Plus revenue-sharing.

So why would more than 15 want to transfer??

Yeah, NIL allows you to pay walk-ons whatever you want to so you can effectively have a roster of 200 if you want to and can afford it.

15 gone bc of roster reductions
10 gone for various reasons (playing time/want to be closer to home etc)
5-25 gone because they were expected to tackle in practice

We actually made money since Carolina paid us a hefty buyout..2 bowl games in 3 years ..one a BCS bowl.....so keep swinging and missing there buddy!

Briles is the one that cost us millions.

18-8 his last 2 years.

Only coach other than Briles last 30 years to produce back to back winning seasons.

Those that still cling to 2017 are getting fewer and fewer.

Carolina paid us $6,000,000.00 for his buyout due to a special clause in his contract. That money was used to hire CDA and his staff.

Hardly anything snake about him agreeing to that clause in his contract, which helped us out quite a bit.

Chuck Reedy produced two back to back winning seasons in the last 30 years. If one is going to glorify Rhule's 7-6 season, then he shouldn't neglect to mention Chuck's two 7-5 years.

And no..those who hang on to Rhule era are growing.

You .and others..seem to forget there was serious discussion of kicking us out of Big 12..and daily columns and pundits on TV and radio echoing the same.

The 1-11 purge was necessary to build HIS culture..

He could have gone 4-8 his last 2 years and he still would have done Baylor right..the wins the last 2 years were gravy .
