Michigan blaming Ohio State, Buckeyes blame the Wolverines for the behavior, I saw punches thrown on both sides, wonder what consequences that will have, since it all happened after the game was over?

An appropriate penalty would be no extra fine but a bowl ban for both.Oldbear83 said:

Have a feeling there will be some suspensions after they review the tape of that brawl. And for Ohio State, those would for their first CFP game, if there are any.

As there should be. I saw two MIchigan and two OSU players who managed not to encounter each other but ran through the mob throwing punches at opposing players without provocation.boognish_bear said:Have a feeling there will be some suspensions after they review the tape of that brawl. I saw a video of the Michigan Ohio state fight that looks like it is from the stands and noticed several things.
1. Michigan was celebrating at the 50. The flag was never planted in the ground. Sure maybe they were about to but that is not for sure as it didn't happen.
2. OSU players charged in and started the fight.
3. Anything else after that is the fault of OSU.
4. The coaches seem to have taken the worst of the pepper spray and at times separating the players as you can see several coaches/staff get knocked over and everyone fighting around them while they are on the ground.
5. Again it is ALL on OSU. Visiting teams celebrate ALL the time on the field after a win. Not just rivalry week.
Ryan Day, the HEAD coach, just stands there and does nothing as his senior Captain, Jack Sawyer, devastatingly cries out:

It is a bad trend in college football. Yeah, there's no excuse for a huge fight on the field, but to some degree you have to respect your opponent's home field. It is definitely going to incite some violent tendencies. Just take the W and the L and walk off the field with some class.Oldbear83 said:I have a feeling if there weren't a flag, something else would have sparked it.Self Made Bear said:

There is a nasty history between some schools.
LOL. Woody would have just took the first swing while everybody watched in shock.BUATX2000 said:
Pretty sure a woody Hayes coached team isn't acting a fool like that. Time to bake "don't embarrass the school" terms into the NIL agreements.
