BS....all first year coaches go 1-11. We're told on this board that a coaching change sets a program back 5yrs at a minimum.

I know some very beloved Baylor supporters that are ashamed that we lost to Liberty and UTSA. But what insight would those guys have about whether a coach is successful or not.

Lulz, carries a lot less weight than players that were drafted into the NFL and played for the very coach you miss with all your aching being.

That and a slim pickens market, as much as cabers hate to admit it, it's a good thing we had to replace a coach last offseason and not this one.

Any time the media starts justifying a hire by saying a coach's record at his current school doesn't matter because it was a "bad" situation, they've pretty much guaranteed he will be a complete washout. Look for a 1-11 or 2-10 season with a loss to an FCS school.

From another angle, he's gonna hand Rhule's staff its ass in East Texas recruiting. That's the only problem with this hire.

I suppose time will tell how badly Arkansas screwed up this hire, if this is in fact who they go with.
