Definitely a positive aura infiltrating these parts as of late, the negative nancies are mostly giving it a rest and daring to be positive.

Welcome back. Nice to see efforts at forward thinking and unity again.

Baylor football has a bright future, we know it, they know it, and frankly, so does that little school in Austin.

I honeypotted some names that will be noted when they try to jump back on to the bandwagon, we know better about their "fandom".

Weird that we can throw anti-semitism into the Caber category, an unexpected addition.

I have been fairly negative and critical of Rhule but even i agree with this after what we've seen so far this season.

How about lifetime bans for tanking or just public ridicule for being "that staff" and moving away from Baylor or educational institutions?

That wasn't the bet he offered. But tell you what, I'll take that one as long as you will make it good for between now and the end of the 2020 season. Deal?

Just donate the loss money to the Tulsa Police Department budget for security at the 2019 Houston at Tulsa game. I heard the taser budget is a little light for that one.

MV. I actually took you off ignore for this thread because I spit out my coffee when I read this post and the author, and had to read.

You have literally spent 3 years calling other Baylor Alum, fans, fathers, and grandfathers, RAPE ENABLORS. RAPE APLOGISTS. You have single haddidly been the biggest source of toxicity on this forum and were banned repeatedly on this forum and BF for your vile over the top personal attacks. And you want to crow about unity?

Here's your chance. Your literally the only person I've ever blocked... In a spirit of unity, are you willing to come out and apologize to Baylor alum and fans that you hideously accused of being ENDORSERS AND ENABLERS OF RAPE. Just because they disagreed with you on a football coach.....They WANTED GIRLS RAPED. Let's see how big of a man you are and if you can own up and truly earn "unity". If so, happy days..welcome to civilized society. If not, from the bottom of my heart, take your fake unity and STFU.

You either weren't there in 2004 or your memory is terrible.

In 2004 after 7 games, Baylor was 2-5 ( not 4-3 ), with losses
By 42(!!) points at a 7-5 Conference USA team in UAB
By 30 at #5 Texas
Home loss by 20 against a Missouri team that finished with 5 wins.
Home loss against Iowa State that barely made a bowl
By 32 points at an Unranked Nebraska that would finish below .500

2018 after 7 games,
By 13 at Home to a Duke team that is 5-1
By 33 @ a Top 10 OU
By 7 @ a Top 10 Texas

I agree here. Though we looked better against UT this year than we did last year, let's not forget that:

a) we knocked out their starting QB, even Clemson loses when that happens

and

b) we lost

Let's be encouraged by the 'internal improvements' we're seeing. Let's get excited around here when we've won.

You are correct. People can read and if they choose to do so, they will find it was you that brought the first Jewish reference, not me. Likewise, you will never find a "caber" comment attributed to me. Again, it is just you.

That was an early Briles era type loss. There were alot of positives about the team despite the fact we did not score a TD in the final seconds to win it.

The game this past Saturday reminded me a lot of Baylor's 16-10 loss against the Aggies in College Station in 2001. We had a chance to win at the end. Nobody saw it coming. This was a Kevin Steele led team that ended the season 3-8.

Spectacular effort by the Bears this past Saturday, no doubt. I am not ready to break out the Dom Perignon just yet but am cautiously optimistic. West Virginia will be mad as a hornet come 10/25 in Morgantown after getting hammered by Iowa State this past weekend.

Not that there is anything wrong with that but but no I dont. Right now I live in a cabin in the far north. I travel a lot but my home is on my ranch in Texas. I have had the same sn for about 15 years and have met many posters.

Not me to be honest. Baylor was completely outplayed in that 2001 game and honestly was quite lucky to even have a chance at a hail mary at that point. I agree with the above poster that said it reminded him of an early era Briles game. Something like 2008 at home to Missouri or at UConn earlier in the year or 2010 against Tech.

We definitely have a whole lot more raw physical talent on this team than we had back in 2001.
