A few observations:

I guess attendance of <20K last year made Jerry rethink his deal and return the Tech series to campus.

Tech game must be homecoming. I don't see it waiting until OU.

OU and UT back to back late in the year will suck.

Last game of the year in Lawrence on a holiday weekend after basketball season starts may have attendance to rival the 2001 Saluki Sacrifice.

Glad to see we are done with JerryWorld for at least two years.
Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

A few more, even more meaningless, observations:

9 games in Texas
2 in Kansas
1 in Oklahoma

Same as we had in 2011, 2013 and 2015

All 12 games played between longitudes 95.41W and 97.37W.

That's an awful schedule. Not sure the B12 Office is going to enjoy watching Baylor vs Kansas the last game of the year, then the following week for the Big 12 Championship.

All that game did was help Tech recruit DFW area.

We are 1hr away from the metroplex we don't need that game to recruit there.

Its the same reason aggie and Arky have a game there.....they need it to sell themselves to DFW recruits.

Playing Tech at home every other year will be nice, especially if they can continue to improve.

The only drawback that I can see is that it means Tech fans will descend on Waco like crickets in the fall.

Prob not the obnoxious ones from lubbock.

I had already been thinking that since we built the stadium we should play our home game against Tech there and if Tech still wanted to play us in Arlington that would be fine as well as their home game instead of in Lubbock.

Keeping on the Rhule 3 year progression track, this schedule paves the way to at least a Big 12 Title Game.

Yup. I love it. Gives us an extra true home game next year.

Sorry to see that Baylor/TCU is not a season finale next year. The state of TX needs an in state traditional season finale and for so many reasons to numerous to mention here Baylor/TCU would be perfect.

Next year will be only the second time in my 57 years that BU will play a home game on Halloween, and of course the first on a Thursday and first at night. Usually we have had the week off.

Past Halloween Saturdays:

2015: off
2009: Nebraska (11am kickoff)
1998: @ Notre Dame
1992: off
1987: off
1981: off
1970: @ TCU
1964: @ TCU

When we played in south bend, the city council and police department declared trick or treating on Oct 30 and banned it on game day because of postgame traffic.
