GEORGETOWN, Texas The Mart Panthers are heading back to Arlington and the state championship round after a 40-13 win over Falls City in the semifinals.
Mart used the ground game to beat Falls City with Roddrell Freeman, Shatydrick Bailey and Tyrek Horne all scored rushing touchdowns. Freeman had another big game in just his second start at quarterback.
Bailey scored a pair of touchdowns and also played a major role defensively for the Panthers. Bailey was in the backfield throughout the game and made some big plays behind the line of scrimmage.
With the 40-13 win, Mart goes back to Arlington looking to win back to back state championships for the first time in program history.
