I was there. I remember being down 18 points and thinking no big deal.

That is the least amount of defense I ever witnessed in person.

That was a lot of bad football. But, exciting to watch and glad we won!

No, it was just a lot of bad defense - but the offense was about as fun as it gets to watch. CAB's offense at its best.

Just skip the second quarter and watch it as a complete annihilation of Washington. It will feel better.

I was exhausted watching in San Antonio the first time.

I am worn out now, after watching it again.

Lord. Baylor Football used to be so much fun.

Bad defense is bad football and maybe why offenses looked so great

Alabama's defense is horrible, then.

If you watched those two games and came to that conclusion......

I was too. Most exhausted I had ever been after watching a game.

Behind by 18, ball deep in our territory, the line opened and Gannaway with no socks goes the distance. I can still see it.

Used to be fun three and a half months ago.

That night was a blast.

Never forget watching the seas part and Ganaway rumble the length of the field.

I didn't but that was your very flawed argument in action.

You made the comparison, not I

A lot of points isn't necessarily bad football or bad defense. But that Alamo Bowl had a lot of bad defense.

The Official end of the Pussification - 1st bowl win in 19 years, since the 1992 Sun Bowl victory over Arizona in Grant Teaff's last game.

We had some great games last year: the wins over K State & UTSA, the homecoming win over OSU, the bowl victory, and even the 2017 losses to OU & W Virginia. Both comebacks were something to behold and came close to becoming wins. I certainly have high expectations for 2019.

If you enjoyed going 9-3 in the regular season and getting blown out by A&M and OSU, you'll love the 2019 season...

In all seriousness though, what was "fun" back then wasn't the final records, it was that we were finally decent and saw a lot of promise for the future. I get that. But I must say, a 9-3 finish in 2019 (without a Heisman trophy winner this time) is certainly within reach. And if that comes to fruition, we have just as much reason for optimism now as we did then.

Washington's O tackles had great hands.
What ever happened to the Huskies QB?

I was also there. I remember being down 18 and rapidly downing another beer to ease my fears.
