BREAKING: Bears add 2020 WR Seth Jones over Texas A&M and TCU
On Saturday Baylor landed a commitment Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek three-star wide receiver Seth Jones. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect committed to Baylor directly over Texas A&M but also held offers from TCU, Utah and Boston College.
Jones was committed to Boston College from November 12, 2018 all the way until June 10 of this year. The decommitment came one day after attending a Baylor camp and earning an offer from the Bears
Jones ran a 4.47 40 time, a 4.21 shuttle, and a 34.40-inch vertical at The Opening. Combine that with the amazing spring ball film it’s no surprise that his recruitment picked up in a big way.
On July 26 Jones visited Texas A&M for his final unofficial visit there before traveling to Baylor right after that night. He then spent the rest of the weekend in Waco as his decision date approached on August 3. He made his decision and it was to commit to the Baylor Bears.
