“I’m not leaving.”

That was the statement from Baylor Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Mack Rhoades to David Smoak and Paul Catalina on Tuesday during his weekly segment on You Make The Call on ESPN Central Texas after his name emerged as a serious candidate for the University of Southern California’s Athletic Director position.

Thank you Mr. Rhodes for coming out with an example of real quality leadership and support for Baylor. Once the rumor was started you wasted no time affirming your commitment to Baylor. This is the kind of example I hope our often called football coach will learn from. Stepping up and quickly stating your commitment to Baylor means ALOT to the Baylor Nation. We'll see if Coach Rhule is watching & learning or will he allow the rumors to fly while he gives us some excuse for taking a phone call. Trust, support, commitment run both ways Coach.
