Went to the recruiting sites for the first time in a few years. I was thinking 6-0 will be a big boost for hs prospects.

Every site has Baylor ranked last in Big12 in recruiting for 2020.

Anyone know what's happened to our 2020 class? Are there some top prospects where Baylor is in play?

Unlike Aggies we value win and losses over recruiting/stadium size/coaching salary.

This staff typically starts slow and finishes strong on the recruiting trail. They're intentionally deliberate. I wouldn't worry about recruiting at this stage. There's a lot of time until December.

At some point, we have to get some players who are 4*. Bigger stronger faster. We can get Bowl eligible with 3*, but no further.

All of our best pros have historically been defenders, many defensive backs, even when we sucked we produced Gary Baxter.

I think it's because Big 12 defenders face elite QBs and it sharpens them.

Howard picked off Mahomes, Mayfield, and Mason Rudolph in college.

Recruiting isn't over. We'll win in overtime.

That's not unique. Athletes have always been in Baylor's recruitment classes.

Rhule has become well known now for using his official visits late in the season just before the Dec signings. This will be a fun finish with the way the year has gone so far for us Bears

Mose Jeffery: committed AND SIGNED. 6-4 330 Offensive Guard from Kilgore JC. I believe he will be immediate help on O -Line.

Jalen Celestine: Committed Safety from Louisiana

Theron Stroops: Cornerback Committed in June from Lancaster TX.

Gavin Byers: Offensive Lineman (Guard) from Colleyvllle Heritage ... More help on th O Line

Rivals currently has us at 68. Rivals typically highly favors big school recruits for take it for what its worth but we have some work to do but if we keep winning we won't have too much to worry about.
