Two senior bowl wrapups:

First, Arif Hasan beat writer for the Athletic, typically very focused on metrics and analytics but needless to say he was impressed.

The consensus top receiver in Mobile this week was Baylor's Denzel Mims, who showcased phenomenal ball-tracking, concentration and awareness of space to create some fairly spectacular catches.
It's difficult to overstate how well Mims has played thus far in practices, but it's clear that he's grabbed the attention of all the evaluators here. While his highlight catches have played well among the crowd, he's also demonstrated a good release off the line of scrimmage and above-average route running that he's used to create extra space as he advances through his stem.

Second, PFF's lead draft analyst Mike Renner said:

37. WR DENZEL MIMS, BAYLOR
January 20, 2020 Rank: 71st
No player moved up the PFF draft board more at the Senior Bowl than Mims. In a loaded receiver group, Mims was quite clearly the most explosive. Showing he could maintain that explosiveness and separation on the full route tree was massive for him.
