Even in Dantonio's forced retirement, he gave MSU a classier farewell than Rhule did Baylor.
How do you figure? He left the program with NCAA violations and he left the day before the late signing day. In what world is that better than how Rhule left us?

Where did I say the two programs are at the same place? It seems like you make great effort to misunderstand things.

This is, on the one hand, hilarious, and on the other hand, sad and depressing.

This guy ran an outlaw program and hangs around to collect a $4.3 million retention bonus, then "steps aside to spend more time with family"....and STILL is going to be employed by the university??????

And....it will get buried and no one will care. Michigan State basically skates.

This would be like Baylor paying Briles a retention bonus, and then letting him hang around.

MSU skates while Baylor is the poster child for sexual assault.

Our BOR really handled its crisis beautifully, right?

What a joke.
It's pretty ridiculous how little MSU has been impacted by their wrongdoings.

I don't think it's our BOR's fault how the national media has treated us.

I hope MSU will be hammered harder someday. Neither are within my control, so I will be moving on.

Nothing Dantonio has done could be classified as classy.

And yet, MSU, a true slime ball institution, will skate.

Why?

They did not gnash their teeth, howl to the Almighty and give the Wall Street Journal three numbers that will stick with Baylor for at least 25 years. We all know what those numbers are.

The true numbers are 2 and 1. And we know what they are. Most importantly the 1 is one conviction.

But to 99% of those who care to follow we are Rape U and will be forever.

Thank you cowardly BOR leadership and Starr who knuckled under to those who insisted he refuse to provide Title IX leadership.

Cowards throwing Baylor under the bus to protect their careers.

I think you are wrong here. Baylor is the face of what is right in sports. We preserved our integrity while schools like MSU and Tennessee appear to have dragged their scandals out and have never recovered. You either take your medicine early or never get over it and let the pain linger.

You seem to be the only one ruminating on the past. Most fans, media, coaches, administrators, students, etc. have moved on. Maybe you need medication?
