I have a feeling if you check behind the curtains or, better yet, check with some TCU football players, you'd find out this "unraveling" didn't just start after he got out of school. It was just covered up quite well by powers that be at TCU while he was there.

I remember thinking Boykin was a good guy (for some reason). I guess I was victim of the TCU propaganda machine. He started looking sketchy when he was arrested at a bar when they were out of town for a bowl game. Sigh....the downward spiral continued.

Anyone remember Ahmad Dixon's hit on Boykin in Ft Worth? Boykin was a WR then. Casey Pachal (another quality person) was their QB. Patterson threw a hit b/c Dixon hadn't left the field.

This. TCU has been the bastion of girl beating, drug dealing, sexual assaults and more for 20+ years - they Just know how to circle wagons and pay off. Coincidence the startlegram started and flamed the Baylor story ... that resulted in one conviction.
