One of the nations top grad trasnfer long snappers is Gunnar Royer. The 6’2, 220-pound prospect decided to leave Indiana University of Pennsylvania to try to move up a level in competition and ended up committing to Baylor.

SicEm365 reported that contact had been made with the talented grad transfer back in February when Coach Matt Powledge reached out to him. The plan was to take a visit in late March but that was cancelled due to the coronavirus. He has continued to build that relationship and was offered a scholarship for his final season.

Baylor fills an immediate need on special teams. He only has one year of eligibility at Baylor.

I hope he is as good as our previous one. Probably cannot play middle linebacker though.
