Not a Texan

Not many Texans own ice skates or is very good at using them.

Must have lived near the Galleria Mall.

Looks like this person owns their own ice skates. Wherever he lives, he skates often enough to feel comfortable doing this on a bridge.

The last time I ice skated was the mid 90's when I was a kid at the HOT Coliseum and they let the public skate with the Waco Wizards. That was maybe 1996.

I took lessons in Canada, got fairly proficient in a few weeks, but never got to that.

He's definitely native to ice.

Go Wizards! Sounds like my memory too. That was the last time I saw an ice rink in Waco.

Last time I truly skated was at the Houston Galleria a few years ago. I sucked at it and dudes like this one were skating circles around me and doing all kinds of tricks showing off.

I did some of that this week. But it was on my front porch and it was on my ass, no skates.

I think a lot of us did, although not necessarily ending up on our butts.
