Bed: very comfortable
Clean: yes

I actually stayed there one night in 1968. It was new then and pretty nice. Looks like it's run down a little since.

If you have kids with you, the Homewood Suites is nice because you can have them in a different room.

The new Home2 suites near Valley Mills is also nice and a good location to campus.

yes perfect for families. I would prefer Hilton Garden Inn for solo or couples but Homewood Suites would be better if whole family is there.

I admit I'm a Marriott guy but there new Town Place Suites our by the mall area is clean, has room for the whole family with the extra room/pullout couch. Works great for game weekends for sure.

Waco has a ton of decent VRBO properties. A lot more space and we usually bring our dog. We end up with a net savings since we don't have to pay for a dog sitter.

If I'm not using Hilton or Marriott points, I go straight to VRBO.

We have an AirBNB Downtown that is 2/2. On the trolley line across from the Hippodrome. Would give a discount to any SicEm365 members! We stay fairly booked with guests but have some openings still this Summer. Prices are in line with the Indigo.

Hopefully adding another property before football season that I will share once permitted!

My favorite place when available is the Hilton, been staying there since my son started at Baylor in 2013. Was Hyatt prior to that but no properties so switched. My favorite mostly for the people who work there and getting to hang out with the team who stays there. Seth the bartender takes good care of us and as a Hilton Diamond member I have a bit of status that matters there. Home2Suites is a good backup.

Several new hotels nearing completion. SpringHill Suites at the corner of University Parks and the 35 frontage road. Aloft on I think 6th. Both will probably open during the football season.

The Oak Lodge actually appears to be in good shape structurally and not run down even with the room that recently burned.

I personally think that property has great potential to be restored to an old school mid 20th century motor inn for the tourists.

Almost every nice and cool and trendy place downtown was a dump as recently as 6 years ago.
