Ok Akinjo is hurt. Probably played hurt in OU game. Where is Sochan? The lost of Love before season started is also hurting our guard play..

I didn't notice any problems with Sochan in this game. I don't think anyone else did either. He may have been a bit rusty from not having played or practiced in awhile, but he played quite well. It was such a blessing to see him out there again.

Our entire energy level changes when Sochan and JTT come on the court. He does so many little things well. Add that to the size and rebounding he brings and we're a different team. He's the typical glue guy whose stats don't scream I'M GREAT, but when he's not around it's quickly noticeable. He plays with a certain amount of poise that just spreads to the rest of the team when he's out there.

I suppose there's something to his presence on the floor being vital to the team's success. I can't wrap my head around it honestly...we know we're better defensively with him...but we seem to just be in such a better flow at both ends of the floor even through a fairly pedestrian shooting night.

So glad he's back!

In his 20 minutes of play, we were +19. Good things tend to happen when he's in the game. Really missed him against Tech.
