Going to be an interesting offseason revolving around Bron.

I think Phili and Houston are the leaders with Boston being a legit dark horse.

he goes to San Antone..
learns all he can from Pop in a year, maybe two, and becomes the first legitimate player coach since Billy Russell.

Kawhi was waiting the year through so he could play with the King, fresh to def.

just a crazy, strong arm guess.\\

I live in San Antonio and have strongly considered tryin to bag season tickets just for the investment opportunity.

Not sure he will leave Cleveland. Lakers have the room, but you pretty much have to bring a whole team with him. San Antonio barely has the cap room and what about Leonard--is he gone or staying?
I know Chris Paul and Lebron want to play together, but don't see it in Houston. 3 Stars that need to control the ball. Harden is the biggest volume shooter in the NBA and plays indifferent defense at times.
None of those moves get him to a place where he beats GS, in my view.

He has to leave Cleveland. They've got nothing around him. He gave the city a championship coming back from 3-1. He can leave with his head high.

He's got to leave because someone has to beat GS. They irritate me.

Golden State gives us the blueprint for winning championships at Baylor

You need one big that can score at a high level (Clark could be that, but Kegler more likely as long as he is at Baylor). Durant for GS

You need two guards who can score at a high level: I think there are 6 good prospects in the next 2 years: McClure, Mason, Bandoo, Allen, Teague, Mitchell. Curry and Thompson for GS.

You need glue guys: Vital, Lindsey for Baylor in 18-19. Green and Iggy for GS.

You got it, Ashely.

Drew is definitely showing his intention.

I'm interested to see flo's development.
Big time name with the physical tools. Gonna be fun to watch.

Staying in Cleveland doesn't get him any closer to winning a championship. They would need to majorly improve that team and I'm not sure which FA would sign there knowing Lebron will only sign a 1-year deal.

Houston is intriguing. Many people didn't think GS could make it work with KD, but they have made it work. Lebron likes to get his teammates involved and being in Houston would give him an opportunity to show off his basketball IQ by getting two superstars involved. It would be a good change of pace for him to not have to be the only legit threat on his team every single night.

But at the same time, the path through the East is so easy, I'm not sure if he would want to leave the Eastern Conference. It will be fun to see where he ends up.

Wherever Lebron goes, it will determine if GS rules the NBA for the next 3-4 years...

All hope falls on him to dethrone those guys.

Unless Klay Thompson leaves (and some other bench guys). Houston pushed them to 7, and with GS continuing to play uninterested, the gap could be closing.

Houston. Large city. Great AAU for his kids. Best chance at championship outside of GS and Boston. Paul and Hardin need to adjust contracts.

I think Lebron would be a good fit for the Celtics as a back up to Tatum in a mentoring role.

Or maybe he can join as the superstar he is and finally get y'all over the hump, I mean why not join the team he's the destroyed for the past 7-8 years and sent into rebuilding .

The twitters are abuzz with Kahwi and LeBron ending up in LA.

Boston vs LA in the finals! Back to the future!

LA could possibly end up with Bron, Leonard, and PG13.

That is just nasty.

I have to think LeBron will tell Magic to lose the Ball clan or no dice. He doesn't need to put up with that side show.

Yeah, no way Ball stays.

I saw a projected trade that included Ball, etc for Kawhi.

There's not a snowball chance in hell Popovich tolerates Lavar Ball.

there is no way the Spurs trade Kahwi to a West contender. I could see them trading him to Boston or Philly but no way Houston, Golden State, Los Angeles...

Agree, but I wonder how strong the offers will be from teams that know they might lose him after a year. If the Lakers present a much stronger offer, do the Spurs have to consider it.

Seems like someone from the East will make a good offer to take a shot, though, like OKC did with PG13.

The LA Times was reporting this week that they wanted to dump the Ball baggage.

Yes, but the the forum is listed as a "Baylor Sports" forum. I don't mind talking other leagues/sports that have no connection to Baylor sports, but it's somewhat annoying when 50% of the threads or more are not about Baylor sports. It would be nice to have separate forums for those categories.

Is this crap a Baylor thing? An internet thing? A whiny metrosexual thing?

Thread contains the word "LeBron" in the title. It's a fairly safe bet this has nothing whatsoever to do with Baylor. I'm guessing you weren't compelled to click.

The two I liked the most. Negro League with Satchel Paige and the D league.
