Not sure he will leave Cleveland. Lakers have the room, but you pretty much have to bring a whole team with him. San Antonio barely has the cap room and what about Leonard--is he gone or staying?Ashley Hodge said:

He has to leave Cleveland. They've got nothing around him. He gave the city a championship coming back from 3-1. He can leave with his head high.twd74 said:Not sure he will leave Cleveland. I know Chris Paul and Lebron want to play together, but don't see it in Houston. 3 Stars that need to control the ball. Harden is the biggest volume shooter in the NBA and plays indifferent defense at times.
None of those moves get him to a place where he beats GS, in my view.
Staying in Cleveland doesn't get him any closer to winning a championship. They would need to majorly improve that team and I'm not sure which FA would sign there knowing Lebron will only sign a 1-year deal.twd74 said:Not sure he will leave Cleveland. Unless Klay Thompson leaves (and some other bench guys). Houston pushed them to 7, and with GS continuing to play uninterested, the gap could be closing.BaylorBears_254 said:
Wherever Lebron goes, it will determine if GS rules the NBA for the next 3-4 years...
All hope falls on him to dethrone those guys.
What about Pat Riley?willyric said:
he goes to San Antone..
learns all he can from Pop in a year, maybe two, and becomes the first legitimate player coach since Billy Russell.
there is no way the Spurs trade Kahwi to a West contender. I could see them trading him to Boston or Philly but no way Houston, Golden State, Los Angeles...vanillabryce said:
Yeah, no way Ball stays.
I saw a projected trade that included Ball, etc for Kawhi.
There's not a snowball chance in hell Popovich tolerates Lavar Ball.
Agree, but I wonder how strong the offers will be from teams that know they might lose him after a year. If the Lakers present a much stronger offer, do the Spurs have to consider it.Ashley Hodge said:there is no way the Spurs trade Kahwi to a West contender. The LA Times was reporting this week that they wanted to dump the Ball baggage.BaylorOkie said:
I have to think LeBron will tell Magic to lose the Ball clan or no dice. He doesn't need to put up with that side show.

Is this crap a Baylor thing? An internet thing? A whiny metrosexual thing?EasyE said:Ashley Hodge said:this is the basketball board so we can talk about all things basketball here.EasyE said:

Yes, but the the forum is listed as a "Baylor Sports" forum. I don't mind talking other leagues/sports that have no connection to Baylor sports, but it's somewhat annoying when 50% of the threads or more are not about Baylor sports. It would be nice to have separate forums for those categories.
You should report this issue to one of the site owners. This must be stopped.EasyE said:Ashley Hodge said:this is the basketball board so we can talk about all things basketball here.EasyE said:
