Honor among thieves as Adidas pays Under Armor back the $20,000 they paid the player's guardian to get De Sousa away from Maryland.

I heard on a sports radio show that Preston ' s mom received $90,000 and an AAU coach $30k.

So much more civil in the cheating today.

Back in the old days Dickerson kept the Aggie's Trans Am and nothing was done, so unfair. To this day SMU has never repaid A&M for that car.

Lol.

But that was football in Texas. I dated the sister of one of the SMU basketball players from back then. Very little cash but he could pocket the housing allowance as the condo was paid by a soon to be banned booster. All he had to do was employ that booster as his agent on his first pro contract. So the basketball game has not changed much in thirty years. Man I feel old now after doing that math.

I think the initial Az charges were incorrect. I think AZ has some dirty elements but those Ayton accusations were proven false

they named the wrong guy. If you listen to Sean Miller's presser on it, his comments were very nuanced. "I never had a conversation with Dawkins about paying $100k for Ayton..."

Brian Bowen was the guy discussed that is supposedly on wire tap. Plus Ayton would never go for $100k. That's insulting. If they are going to pay $200k+ for Terrance Ferguson and get nothing for it in the end, they sure aren't go to get Ayton that cheap.
