yeah SMU has lots of proven production returning and two impact transfers.

Probably Vandy every year, gives the family an opportunity to break down strengths and weaknesses and honest feedback. Vandy is stocked with talent- two 5 star recruits

SMU doesn't have much they aren't top 4 in a one bid league. If we don't dominate that game we are in trouble

Young teams get better or worse as the season progresses. What we see in preseason scrimmages will be very different from what we see in February.

We are inexperienced but not that young. I think most of the guys we are counting on are 21+

On the court? Only Clark, McClure and Vital. Kegler and Gillespie practiced with these guys all year last year.

I agree that it will take some time to gel. But hopefully the fact that these guys have college basketball experience (Allen, Bandoo, Mason in addition to the guys mentioned) will help speed up the process. Plus having a coach in his prime who knows what his team needs to compete at the level needed is beneficial... but there are a lot of veteran, good coaches in the B12.

Perhaps one less if Kansas has any integrity.

I'm optimistic, but the team we see playing these scrimmages in Nov will be quite different in Feb.

true, but same can be said of the opponents, too.

plus, as Ashley mentioned Kegler practiced with the team last year and Mason has tons of experience.
