In terms of age, this is not a young team, but rather, a very mature team. But it is a fair assessment to say that so many new faces makes them a young team as far as their collective experience is concerned. Our first game loss can be attributed to having arguably our two top players out and rotating so many new faces in and out of the lineup. We never developed much cohesiveness, and losing a double digit lead on our home floor as we did was a clear indication of a lack of maturity as a team.
We do have three frosh players, all fine prospects, who are getting their share of minutes, so that gives the appearance of being younger than we actually are.
