Some bad/missed calls combined with good shooting allowed KU to go on a run.

Looks like they ran into each other on our last offensive possession and smacked heads. Not quite sure how exactly but there was a lot of blood.

Flo and Freddie are so uncoordinated.

Mayer couldn't throw the ball in the ocean if he was standing on the beach.

Gillespie is not a D1 player

And it continues. Should only be down by 2

I thought he held his own defensively for the most part. He had some nice deflections and rebounds. But we're playing 4 on 5 on the offensive end every second that he plays.

Mayer just needs to slow down and let the game come to him. Once he does and everything clicks, he's going to be a really good offensive player.

i don't know what offense baylor runs. this weird pick and pass thing at the top of the key just puts us in a weird position to rush the last 10 seconds and put up errant shots. anyone with some real basketball knowledge (not just TV watching kind like me ) know what that is?
I've always called it "glorified streetball".

People have been saying this for years, ignoring the fact that Scott Drew has put elite offensive teams on the court far more often than not over the past 11 years. The last two years have been a struggle because we are/were short on outside shooting threats, but since 2008, our KenPom adjusted offensive efficiency rankings (points per 100 possessions, adjusted for competition) rank as follows:

2018-19 -- 109th
2017-18 -- 62nd
2016-17 -- 23rd
2015-16 -- 14th
2014-15 -- 13th
2013-14 -- 10th
2012-13 -- 19th
2011-12 -- 13th
2010-11 -- 99th
2009-10 -- 5th
2008-09 -- 14th
2007-08 -- 19th

It's crazy to me that people still question Scott Drew's abilities as a coach given all he's accomplished the past 11 years. He's lost some recruiting battles lately and has had some trouble with roster building at different times throughout his tenure, but when he has talent to work with, his teams are always a tough out.

I was at the Ferrell Center this past Saturday afternoon. It shocked me not to see Tristan Clark in the staring lineup for Baylor. Then, I received a text message saying he suffered a season ending knee surgery. After Baylor fell behind 18-2, I was concerned this Big XII MBB game would become a blowout. Amazing to see the Baylor Bears rally to within 2 points in the 1st half, and the late 2nd half comeback to close the deficit to just 4 points before the 73-68 loss to Kansas. Plenty of grit and effort by the Baylor Bears before a very good crowd at the Ferrell Center.
