Any word on Makai?

Does winning today, and locking in 20 wins, ensure we make the NCAA? Or are we in already? Don't think the players would get up for an NIT birth, like last year.

We are soundly in. Game today probably only means being an 8 seed with a win or a 9 seed with a loss.

I've seen others projecting BU as a 7 seed. Perhaps a win today get us 7 and a loss gets us an 8. Wishful thinking for me?

Either way I'd love to stop the current losing streak with a W right now.

We've been hosed too many times, not putting money on your "we're an 8 or 9, wake up!"

Time to see some energy from our guys. Glad Makai's shot is on.

Mason on fire so far

Both teams are knocking down 3-point shots. A very entertaining and exciting 1st half so far.

Gotta hope for second half Butler again. Got whistled for a phantom foul on at three point shooter but shouldn't have waved his arm to begin with.

ISU killing us with the three.

Bears playing great...Iowa St is just having an insane day shooting.

Garbage last 5 minutes. Hopefully the hole isn't too big already to dig out from.

Iowa State closed the 1st half on a 12-3 scoring run. What is more surprising is the Cyclones leading the Bears in team rebounds. Baylor missed the front end of the 1-and-1 from the free throw line in the 1st half. 29 points for the Baylor Bears I the first 20 minutes is disappointing. Scott Drew and the coaching staff will have to alter the game plan, so Baylor can have better success on offense and defense in the 2nd half.

I wouldn't say great. Too much freelancing on offense again and Makai had a pretty brutal last 8 minutes. Missing FTs and giving them too many second chances. ISU should cool off some but we need to start getting some runs together.

We usually put a run together. This team never goes away. Just got to start putting some stops together and getting and hitting some shots.

When have we been hosed? The Baylor teams that should have made the NCAA tournament always have.

It would be nice if the Big 12 tournament wasn't a defacto home game for the former Big 12 North schools every year.

Our ability to get stops on defense today are non-existent so far. Shaping up to be a painful and long second half unfortunately.

Kegler in the open floor is nightmare fuel.

Would be nice to get some dates in Dallas or OKC but the gate would suffer too much.

He is a turn over about to happen in those situations and he never seems to learn of improve in that regard.

ISU playing much more enthused and purposeful. Baylor playing like they're missing their best players and the rest of the league adjusted.

Kegler has a low basketball IQ unfortunately. He's just a sophomore, though. Hopefully that will improve the next two years because he's got a lot of ability.
