Didnt see it mentioned here today or yesterday. The guy's career background seems to be primarily coaching in the NBA and semi pro leagues.

Dad was a great hardass coach.. Nevada's season was actually dissapointing .. many had them as Final Four team after lasts year run.

Don't know whether he can the job done at Arkansas, but he was on everybody's radar this year. Not exactly an out-of-the-box hire like Jerry Stackhouse at Vandy (which in 3 years, I suspect, will look either like pure genius or pure lunacy). But Musselman looks like a solid hire that nobody much is going to criticize. He was one of this year's hot coaches. If the Porkers didn't get him, the Frogs or someone else would have.

This seems like a Shaka hire. Yes, he did great things at a smaller school, but suddenly you aren't facing a conference where you are the big dog and the rest are little dogs. You are just one of the dudes now that you are in the SEC surrounded by a number of other good programs. He's a good coach but it will be interesting to see how much he can improve on Anderson's mediocrity.
