This is one time when we especially need a large, vocal home crowd:

To be honest, we need that for every game.

Our new gym needs to be named, "The Immortal Ten Memorial Fieldhouse."

That's a good idea. But it probably will be named for the lead donor.

The Bad Boy Mowers and Simple Pickle Field House really rolls off the tongue.

I'm really old...that's my Dad's teammates and friends. Knew Joe Potter, the freshman driving the bus that day. He retired to the Lake Whitney area when I knew him. Dad laid out of school that semester to earn money for school or he would have been on that bus.

Wow! Thanks for sharing. Glad your dad wasn't on that bus. Such a tragedy to lose so many young people. Glad Baylor honors their memory.

The lead donor can have the court. They gave more than money.

No arguments. But I doubt anyone with control over such things will listen to us.

The announcers really talked up the Immortal 10 last night, which was awesome. I remember them talking a lot about it during the 2017 game (the first Immortal 10 Game) too. It's becoming a neat tradition and kind of like the Basketball version of Homecoming. I wish I was there in person; it sounded like a great atmosphere.

it was. There was a great crowd--especially the student section--and we did our best to help our team. This was my first Immortal 10 game & I was glad to be there. For some reason, I assumed they had been doing this for many years. It's a great tradition.

One funny note: almost every time one of our players was at the free throw line, some noisy Sooner shouted, "Boomer!" IIRC, we made every one of those FT's and only missed when he was silent. If I had been closer, I might have said something, after the game, to the effect, "Why didn't you say that more often? It helped us."
