I think he is terrible and ruins the game for me. In the UT/IU game today, I guess he lost connection and wasn't able to comment and it was the best part of the game. It would be one thing if he talked about UCLA, Coach Wooden or stories from his playing days. I just want to watch some bb and not listen to his crazy comments.

To me it's like he's doing a weird (not so funny most of time) stand up comedy routine as a basketball game is simultaneously happening. It's always strange.

If his rants would ever end I'd be ok with it. Hell, I might even find them enjoyable. He just drones on and on with unrelated comments. It's a shame, too. When he actually analyzes the game he is an incredible broadcasting talent. Bright basketball mind, loquacious, and has a big enjoyable personality. Split it to 85% basketball talk and I'd turn the volume back up.

I wasn't sure what you guys were talking about, but now I'm watching the UT-North Carolina game and OMG. This guy is all over the place. It's a good thing I'm only paying about 30% attention to it as I'm working.
