What is our magic number to win the league outright and clinch the one seed for KC?

The best anyone else could do is 13-4 (OU or WV if they win out). KU can get to 13-5, UT to 12-5.

13-4 is a .7648 winning percentage.

11-3 is .7857, so 11 wins clinches it.

Well we got surprise help on the OU front from KSU tonight.

So now its a BU win on Saturday or a West Virginia loss on Saturday, right?

Regardless, I really want to beat West Virginia too, that way no-one can say they didn't beat every team in the conference and try to discredit a conference championship.

I just have a hunch we'll be plenty motivated to lock up the league title with a sweep of KU. Don't see us dropping the next two, but a loss sometime in the next week won't keep me awake...

We will win the conference but we really just need to win them all at this point and win out. Leave no doubt and no allowance for but.. but.. but. We win out and we win the conference under any circumstance even if all the games were played.

Agree, but I see us losing once (maybe even twice) as a good thing going into the tourney.

Losing a game is NOT a good thing. Losing 1-2 may be acceptable and may not harm our chances at winning the conference, but that's different. I can see how losing can motivate the team or wake them up (it's done that for the Lady Bears on multiple occasions--including the most recent National Championship year) but it's still best to avoid it.
