Littlepage-Buggs Named McDonald's All-American
WACO, Texas – Baylor women’s basketball signee Darianna Littlepage-Buggs has been selected to the 2022 McDonald’s All-American team.
Littlepage-Buggs joins current Baylor players NaLyssa Smith, Queen Egbo and Jaden Owens as fellow McDonald's All-Americans.
The 6-foot-1 guard out of Edmond, Oklahoma is a five-star recruit that ranks No. 17 overall and is the No. 3 wing according to ESPN Hoopgurlz.
Littlepage-Buggs averaged 18.1 points, 11 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game at Classen High School last season.
Joining her in the 2022 Baylor recruiting class are No. 41 overall recruit Bella Fontleroy and No. 62 overall Kyla Abraham. Fontleroy is the No. 8 wing in the class, and Abraham is the No. 10 post.
Nicki Collen’s first full recruiting class at Baylor is rounded out by the No. 2-ranked JUCO player in the country, Catarina Ferreira. She is a 6-1 guard from Eastern Arizona College.
The class overall is considered a top-10 or top-15 class by ESPN and ASGR Basketball, and Littlepage-Buggs’ McDonald’s All-American nod only adds to the accolades.
