We are so fortunate to have watched Smith play for these four years. She is a rare talent. Tonight she had a quiet 30 points and 12 rebounds. Hope we go far in the tournament.

Next Women's game is in four days. Considering the last 10, that break is going to feel like a week…and none too soon. I wouldn't be surprised if NC gives them tomorrow and Monday off. Maybe film study and a very light shootaround on Monday. Got to get them off their feet for a couple of days.

Lookin and Bearprof are exactly right. Smith is indeed wonderful to watch in this final year at Baylor. Her combination of athleticism and skill is rare, and with her size as an additional asset, she is truly dominant.

I thought that Baylor looked more mentally tired tonight than physically fatigued. They were lethargic, slow to get into the right positions on defense and on the boards, a little off on their shots, not quick enough to get loose balls that they normally secure, and a few mental mistakes they have not made of late.

They generated a lot of energy and maintained a lot of focus in three straight games against worthy opponents, so it is to be expected that they would have a letdown. Once the fourth quarter came around, they ramped up the energy level enough to turn a fairly close game into a runaway. This is the mark of a superior team, but it must not happen in the NCAA Tournament, where a short bench might prove fatal.

Queen played well except for free throw shooting.I think her poor shooting from the stripe was probably an aberration because she has been very accurate this season.

Why do a few posters keep calling Andrea a volleyball player? I get that she played volleyball in high school, but she also played varsity basketball all four years. And now she is a Greek volleyball player. And while her last name sounds Greek, she was born in New Jersey. Do they even play volleyball in Greece? Maybe they do but I don't know if she ever made it over there. So she appears to be more of an American basketball player than a Greek volleyball player. Perhaps there is an entire episode of her life I missed? Anyway, it was nice to see Gillespie get in the game.

Was at the game. Sit close to home end basket. Set Shot is right, the fatigue was more mental than physical, but they were expending A LOT of energy in that game. West Virginia was body-ing up the whole game, knocking our drivers off their line, banging our rebounders, grabbing at every ball they could get their hands on. It was rough and physical, PHYSICAL, P H Y S I C A L! Just think, that was our third team in a short span to play that way, and though it wasn't pretty, we persevered and won by almost 20 points. That is the mark of a tough team….

For bleacherbum: Do you ever bother to watch the postgame show, or is your opinion so sacred you don't want facts to interfere, or is it just too complicated for you to grasp? I don't think you are a bone fide fan at all.

Caitlin Bickle, who drew three charges in the game, for the second contest in a row, wore a back brace while on the bench.

Guys, its got to be frustrating to Mulder. They get waxed twice in 3 days by Baylor, which basically takes them out of the conference title race. Then they start winning a game or so, like the game vs OU, but its too little too late for them.

I post perspective and opinion in here, just like every other normal poster and follower on this site. That's what these S365 forums are for. But then, there also are you and your kind in here too. Fair enough, it is America.

Get over YOURself. It is not our fault that you didn't have the academics to get into Baylor. But WE must all now suffer you for that shortfall. And you dig your hole deeper by attacking legitimate Baylor students and alumni in here simply because they happen to have a differing opinion or stance than you.

And please save your "but I wanted to play football that's why I" story. It's BS and we all know it. You would have attended Baylor if you could get in. And you could have easily walked on and been a part of the football team in some role if you were worth anything on the field. But reality is always a hard pill to swallow. It's past time for you to swallow yours and mature.
