$450K??? Ugh... that's not very impressive for a "Destination School" with aspirations of NC's. Of course there are success stories of folks starting a business in their garage and become giant business people. MEH

For more WBB Coaches salaries go to both "IRS Form 990" for various school's as well as "USA Today Women's Coaches Salary Database." I saw the USA Today Database after I had posted the above information. Many NCAA Coaches Contracts are available online in their entirety because of state Freedom of Information Laws.
.
Some salary information has incentives and automatic salary increases included. Nicki Colleen's agreement with Baylor was more than doubling her salary in Atlanta for a terrible ownership. As she establishes herself at Baylor the AD will reward her, there is plenty of room for increases based on achievement. Coaches salaries in the WNBA are not very high, an opportunity to to step up to an elite WBB program at a Power Five University ( Blue Blood ) was an easy decision to make. The old saying is "raises will become effective when you are."

My friend slimecap, thank you and good morning. Always appreciate your culinary tips.

If today is Wednesday, I must have missed Tuesday!

No way for us to know, but there is plenty of history in this sport and others that just promoting an assistant seldom turns out well.

If this is true then in likely means he doesn't enjoy Louisiana as much as he thought he would. You don't leave for a single season unless that season wasn't what you originally expected. Not winning to the degree you are used to and being in a new surrounding can ware on you. He had a great life in Waco, wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't ready to return to it.

Before joining Kim's staff Johnny was an insurance agent in Ruston, so he's Louisiana through and through. But north Louisiana and south Louisiana are different worlds; could be he doesn't like the swamps. Or the fact he is a little older than Kim and that much closer to retirement age, that he made the transition year and is deciding now to hang it up.

I lived in Ruston (and the area) for a good bit of my life. Really enjoyed it. Ruston is (or used to be) the richest city per capita in Louisiana. OTOH, if you wanted me to move to Baton Rouge to work, you'd have to start in seven figures -- with at least a 2 or 3 as the first number. That place is largely a disaster.
