What a difference a year makes! Last year's team ended with nine players, five were 6'0" or taller. This year's team has fourteen players, nine players 6'0" or taller. We will be taller, longer and as or more athletic. They look a lot more like the team CNC is building toward. I am anxious to see how well and how fast they gel.
2022-23 Team, by height:

Ja'Mee Asberry. 5-5
Sara Andrews 5-6
Jana Van Gytenbeek 5-7
Jaden Owens 5-8
Andrea Katramados 5-10
*Aijha Blackwell. 6-0
Caitlin Bickle 6-0
*Darianna Littlepage-Buggs 6-1
*Catarina Ferreira. 6-1
*Dre'una Edwards. 6-2
Kendra Gillispie. 6-2
*Bella Fontleroy. 6-2
*Erika Porter 6-3
*Kyla Abraham. 6-4

* = new to team

Out of high school, eight were ranked on hoopgurlz/espn in the top 10 at their position.
Counting the days!

This is impressive! CNC, staff and team have put together a great roster. It's GreaterThan!

I think we should expect more and better three shooting as times goes on.

I wonder how the minutes get split. That's a lot of talent and and a lot of emotions to manage.
Betting Nicki will rotate players similar to how the WNBA operates.

I love our team additions ! I think we will continue to be competitive in the big 12. It says something when 3 of our 4 transfers were starters at their last programs. Baylor is a competitive program and every player will have to earn their spot. I can't wait to see our team gel with the transfers, freshman, and returnees.

After so many post-season falters due to dead legs and short handed rosters over the past decade, it will be nice to have a well rested and deep roster heading into the Tourney.

Would be great to see every player averaging 26 minutes or less per game.

2015 season finale: 6 players played 196 minutes, shot 42% from field & lost.
2016 season finale: 8 dead legged players saw court in losing to lower seed OSU. Shot 38.5%, 20% from 3, 42.9% from FT line.
2017 season finale: MSU played 10 players, BU played 8. Out scored 19 to 10 in OT, lost.
2018 season finale: shot 39.4% from field, 17.6% from 3, played 7 dead legged players and lost to lower seeded OSU.
2019: won by 1 point in final game
2021: allow 19 point run to give up big lead, 6 players play 191 minutes, shoot 39.4% and 22.2% from 3.

FYI: decade is ten. 2013-2022 [1 NC]. It was the 1 point victory outlier result. Most seasons ended with a bad shooting performance or late fade] due to dead legs. Depth matters!

Having players to soak up minutes when starters build a big lead matters! Not running starters an extra 6-7 minutes per game matters! Teams with depth aren't routinely ending their seasons with bad shooting due to dead legs. Depth matters!

Seasons are marathons not sprints. Players with too many minutes get injured more easily. Sound familiar? Players with too many minutes shoot really poorly on back 2 back games. Sound familiar? Teams with too many minutes get upset due to poor shooting. Sound familiar? Teams with too many minutes fade late in games. Sound familiar?

Probably should have been more, at least more FF appearances. The two OSU losses were killers. Should have never happened.

Decade is 10 seasons and 2020 didn't happen, so going back 10 seasons we had 2 national titles.

Oh good grief AP... You're just mad that having 2 National Championships in 10 years doesn't suit your narrative regarding CKM. Could it have been more? Yes. Should it have been more? Probably, but stuff happens. Your relentless pursuit to tear down Coach Mulkey is really getting tiresome. CNC has done a great job with recruiting for the upcoming season. Let's focus on what we have to look forward to instead of your semantics laced pi$$ing match.

LOL……semantics……..if we discount the first 25 misses, the team shot 50% today. If the facts verify a position, folks don't have to manipulate them.

Facts matter. Intellectual honesty matters.

I only hope and will be thrilled if CNC can accomplish what CKM did here at Baylor.

I see AP and his clan are back to *****ing about not having more nattys as if there so easy to win. CNC failed to get out of the round of 32…. A group of you act as though CNC is going to pump out F4's and Nattys yearly

That is going to be hard for anyone to do going forward anywhere. Parity and the portal have changed the game. Those that are / will be going to the HOF as. coaches had the luxury of not really being challenged until the FF. Now that happens in the SS or earlier. Going to be hard for other coaches to match the success of Tara, Geno, Pat, Muffett and Kim on a year after year basis. For those of them still coaching their lead on the pack has evaporated.

BTW, in the last 8 years we have 256 wins. 2nd most in the country. So you can talk all this crap but you are picking apart one of the top programs in the country.

What I hear him saying is, we were a great program, but we might have had 260+ wins during that period of time if we didn't have tired legs.
