At first I thought it was an interview, too. But it actually carried Mulkey's byline. It kind of reads like they did an interview, let her talk and then just basically edited for punctuation and made it a column. Great that they let Kim be Kim.

Word for those tea-leaf readers who interpreted earlier comments by Kim to mean she didn't think the current BU administration supports her team: She explicitly praised Baylor as a school that "values women's basketball." That should put any doubts to rest. There also is the implication that some schools really don't value women's basketball as they should.
