I don't know about her meningioma, but I have a friend who had a brain stem meningioma a few years ago that unfortunately was caught rather late. He had surgery at Vanderbilt. I know one of the surgeons, and he is truly one of the most gifted surgeons in the world. The other surgeon was also extremely good. It took them 19 hours of surgery to debulk the tumor, and it was impossible to get all of it, meaning he probably has more surgeries in his future. He has some sequelae that would be expected, but he's alive, at work, and there for his wife and child.
I certainly hope that Coach has a great outcome, both now and in the future. Every kind of cancer sucks.
And the days I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations, well, I have really good days.—Ray Wylie Hubbard
