WACO, Texas – Baylor women’s basketball received its conference schedule on Wednesday when the Big 12 announced the 18-game slate for the Bears, completing their 30-game regular season for the 2021-22 campaign.
Baylor opens its Big 12 slate at Kansas State on Jan. 2 before returning to the Ferrell Center for its conference home opener against TCU on Jan. 5.
Texas comes to town on Jan. 9. The Bears then hit the road for back-to-back away games at Oklahoma (Jan. 12) and Kansas (Jan. 16). Baylor hosts Oklahoma State (Jan. 19) and Iowa State (Jan. 23) before traveling to Texas Tech (Jan. 26) and West Virginia (Jan. 29).
The Bears open the month of February at home against Oklahoma on Feb. 2. Four days later, Baylor treks down to Austin to take on Texas on Feb. 6. The Mountaineers come to town on Feb. 12, followed by a home game against Kansas State on Feb. 16.
The Bears wrap up league action with three games on the road – at TCU (Feb. 19), at Oklahoma State (Feb. 23) and at Iowa State (Feb. 28) – and two more at home against Kansas (Feb. 26) and the regular-season finale on March 5 against Texas Tech.
Baylor’s non-conference schedule was released July 30, featuring two exhibitions before the season opener at home on Nov. 9 against Texas State. Two more games stand between then and a road contest at Maryland before the Bears travel to Mexico for the Cancun Challenge from Nov. 25-27.
Baylor closes out non-conference action with four of its five scheduled games to take place at home, including the Big 12/SEC matchup against Missouri on Dec. 5. The lone away game during that stretch is the Bears’ contest with Michigan as part of the Naismith Women’s Challenge at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
