Because of the combination of the number of arms we had to burn to win game one of the series and the fact that we continue to struggle to find a reliable Sunday starter that can stay healthy, our odds of winning game 3 were never good. We lost the series when game 2 slipped away, mainly because of the fluke injury to Boyd in the 8th inning.
