The best ranking info I could find last week, combing the www, indicated that our Bears were ranked somewhere north of 100 (out of 299 teams, not 125 as in football).

After one of the most successful tournaments in BUBB history, taking down #6 Arkansas & #11 LSU, we have rocketed to #28 (4th highest in B12).

Baseball loves stats. This just may be the biggest single week jump in NCAA D-1 baseball ranking. Ever.

Not sure where you are getting #28 out of that. The also getting votes crowd is listed alphabetically.

There is a lot going on in this post, but you're conflating our RPI numbers with poll rankings...2 totally different things. Our RPI did make a big jump this week, but we are still sitting at #158 as of this morning. (RPI is still really volatile at this point in the season because there isn't enough data.)

Brutal loss last night. Dickens pitches a gem and Boyd comes in with a 1-0 lead and blows it in the 9th with a 2 out single to tie. Then we proceed to lose in extra innings.
