What a great player. He does everything an old school guy does. Defense. Smart. Tough. Great teammate. Knows the strike zone as well as anyone in MLB. Power when needed.

What a wonderful old school player. So proud of a grinder and he is the definition of a grinder.

Batting cleanup on a great team. Incredible.

My only disappointment last night was when my high school teammates son was brought in to face Max, who do I pull for? Rays pitcher Aaron Loup's dad and uncle were teammates of mine from little league through high school, wanted Aaron to do well but Dodgers to win. Got both in the long run.
