There was an article today saying Jimmy is feeling better. However he shot +4 at the Sony Open today and only three guys out of 144 shot worse today. Leaders shot 7-under.
I understand he feels fine, I just think he is on a different plateau and his off-season is truly "off".........he will get into the groove as the season progresses but Jimmy has a ton of hobbies that he prefers over golf for 2-3 months out of the year and I do not blame him for that. Although I think most of the guys on tour want to be elite, very few want to put the time in 365 days a year like we saw out to Tiger, Rory and Jordon for long periods of time.
Jimmy turned it around today with -4 including only one bogey. At even he missed the cut though. -13 leads at the moment.
Jimmy shot -4 yesterday, but has dropped back to -3 thru 6 today and is tied for 75th.
Walker missed the cut by four strokes as he was only -2. Two guys from my HS (Port Neches-Groves) made the cut: Andrew Landry leads at -16 and Chris Stroud.

Considering those are the only two guys from my HS to ever play on the Tour the odds are slim. Current BU starter Braden Bailey is also a PN-G Indian.
I didn't realize the cut is after today. Walker fell further back to even overall.
Jimmy and Tiger tee off maana, no Super Bowl, hope both make cut.
At the Farmers Insurance Open he opened with -2 and is tied for 35th. On the front he made double-bogey on 7 and he made three bogeys on the back. Good start, but could've been fantastic. Tiger shot par.
Walker shot even par today and is tied for 47th.
Walker dropped to 57th after posting a 73 today.

He shot 77 today to finish four over par and tied for 62nd.
Today in the opening round of the AT&T Pebble Beach tourney Jimmy fired -4 for 16th place! He played Spyglass today and -7 leads. Walker was -1 on the front with two bogeys and -3 in the back with no bogeys.
Jimmy shot -2 today on MP and at -6 is tied for 17th. Leaders are -12.
Walker is playing Pebble Beach today and started on the back. He was doing well until a double bogey on 18. He recovered with an eagle on 2 and is even for the round thru 12 holes.
He shot one over on PB and dropped to 42nd at -5. Not a good sign since the final round is on PB as well.
Jimmy is on fire! He started on the back and shot -3. After going four under he made a double bogey then followed with three birdies. At -5 thru 15 and -10 overall he is up to 11th place.
He made par in the final three holes to finish -10 which is currently tied for 9th. It'd be great to get a top ten finish.
Finished tied for 8th, way to go Jimmy. Saw interview this week re: Lyme disease, said it still exists, hard to explain, but he feels good and ready for much better year than 2017!
Oh, and $185K for efforts!
Yesterday in round one of the Genesis Open in LA Walker shot +1 with three birdies offset by four bogeys.
He missed the cut after carding a +3 today and +4 overall and ended up 93rd. He started on 10 with a double bogey.
In the first round of the Honda Classic Walker did ok on the front, but was four-over in the last four holes. With his +6 he is very near last place.
And 3 under after 15 today, now tied 42nd at 3 over on tough course today, just making cut after first round terrific if he keeps it going.
He made another bogey and finished -2 today. Tied for 50th to make the cut.
In round 3 he shot -2 on the front and +6 on the back. Yikes!
Closed strong with -3, 2nd best round of anyone so far.
Yep shot -1 on front and -2 on back. He's tied for 39th now.
Ended up tied for 33rd. If not for that +6 round, he would've banked some serious coin.
In round 1 of Valspar Jimmy fired -1 on each nine. He's tied for fifth at-2!
Jimmy shot -2 thru 9 and is tied for first at -4 with Tiger! Wow!
Love to see Jimmy be near the top on Sunday. Would be great boost for him
