Baylor Alum Kyle Jones is in 6th after two rounds (plus 3 holes of the third round) of the PGA TOUR Genesis tournament. At 9 under, he is only 4 shots back with 33 holes to go. The weather forced late tee times and only two rounds were fully completed. Jones and Baylor got a lot of air time today!

Bad 2nd round today, Kyle shot 4 over (76) to post +3 overall; he will miss the cut by a couple shots.

Kyle started great on his first hole (#10), hitting his approach on the par 4 to a foot and a half for a tap in birdie. Since then though, he's added a bogey and a double bogey - where he 3 putted from 12 feet.

Kyle is in the field for the opposite field event this week, the Corales Championship in the Dominican Republic; all the top players are in the World Match Play event in Austin. Kyle tees off in the last group of the day; btw Tony Romo got a sponsors exemption and will also be playing.
